spoiled men
draft
There are all kinds of men As you know Young men old men Wise men judgemental men Jealous men, Friendly men, sportsmen Kind men Stupid men (though it hurts to say it) Hardworking men, lazy men (of course) Short-sighted men, visionaries, Then there’s spoiled men Spoiled men want it both ways Spoiled men want what they can And what they can’t have Spoiled men want it all They may not want everything They want only what they want They want to satiate their desire They want to instruct They want to be obeyed and respected Desired and feared They want to be loved They also want to love They want to chase, they want to obey, They want to be commanded, They want to be saved Theirs is a life of sad contradiction Humble beginnings and humble dreams They are simple They want both sides of the moon Sunrise sunset They want the rise and fall, the ebb and flow They chase the waves, the wind For tsunami or hurricane Yet they desire the feel of firm earth Beneath their feet They long for the world which is their oyster And suck from its teat in free flow Mouth clamped shut and never let go They could be young daddies, old daddies Could they inspire daddy love? Come to papa, could they truly love? Be careful of men Sometimes they think too hard down below And not enough above
